Cyber fraud and data breaches in the era of remote working | 17:30 – 18:30 (BST)

Hosted by

4 Pump Court and Stevens & Bolton LLP.

What the session will cover

The abrupt shift to remote working across the world since March 2020 has exposed many businesses to new and increased threats to their data security and trade secrets. Where and how we work has changed rapidly and radically, and with those changes our dependence on technology and exposure to cyber threats has increased. In this panel discussion we will:

  • Share recent experiences of security threats in the post-COVID world from different jurisdictions
  • Look at how the English legal system is adapting to deal with the changing landscape
  • Give practical tips for preventing breaches, addressing the fall out, seeking legal redress and enforcing across jurisdictions.
